Label printer

Print live gifts, follows and comments onto a paper strip rolling out of an on-stream printer; big gifts can print as Appreciation Invoices with a red stamp.

What the Label printer does

The Label printer puts a small printer on your stream: every gift, new follow or comment in your live room prints a label, and the paper strip rolls upward. Gift labels show the sender, the gift and the quantity. Gifts priced over 99 diamonds can print as an Appreciation Invoice instead, with a red stamp carrying your own text.

It suits streams that want every gift and every new follower to leave a visible mark, such as thank-you segments or companion-style streams.

Where to find it: Extras → Label printer (in the Interactive group). Each live room has its own settings, and changes save automatically.

Preview and testing

Live Preview on the left shows the printer's status (Ready, Printing · count, Paused) and the Widget size, and can switch between three backgrounds.

Under Test print there are four buttons — Small gift, Big gift, Follow, Comment — plus Continuous print ×12. A button is unavailable when its content type isn't checked under Print content. Next to them you can see the Queued count and use Pause / Resume, Feed paper and Clear paper.

Note

Test prints stay in this preview and never reach your stream. Pause, feed paper and clear paper also act only on the panel preview.

The status bar below the preview tells you whether OBS on this computer is connected to the printer widget: Connected to N OBS widget(s) on this computer. means live interactions will print; No OBS widget detected on this computer. means nothing will print during the stream.

During the stream

Once you click Start Collecting in the bottom bar and the room is connected, checked interactions print automatically — there is nothing else to start.

  • A gift combo is merged into one label with the total, printed after the combo ends (or after about 8 seconds without new combo updates). So combo gifts print a little later than the first tap.
  • Repeat follows from the same viewer in the same room print only once.
  • Labels print one after another; as more come in, the strip pushes upward and anything beyond Paper length is no longer shown.

Adding it to OBS

  1. With the Label printer page open, Widget Link: in the bottom bar shows the current room's printer link. Click Copy Link.
  2. Add it as a browser source as described in Widgets and OBS. As the panel suggests, set it to 640 × your chosen widget height for a 1:1 image with no scaling.
  3. For the printer sound to reach your stream, enable "Control audio via OBS" on the browser source. If the widget shows Click to enable audio, click it once using OBS's Interact on that browser source.
  4. Widget links contain an access credential — don't share them publicly.
Warning

The Label printer only receives interactions pushed by the client on the same computer: the widget must be in OBS on the computer running the client. OBS on another computer shows the printer but never prints.

Notes

  • Refreshing the browser source in OBS clears any paper already printed on screen. For the same reason, once the widget has printed it no longer refreshes itself to a newer widget version; to pick up a new version, refresh the browser source manually at a convenient moment.
  • With nothing checked under Print content, nothing prints during the stream.
