Account, Devices and Subscription
Check your tier and expiry date, expiry reminders, renewing with an activation code, signing in on a new computer, logging out and switching accounts.
Check your subscription
Click Settings in the top-right corner of the window and choose Subscription:
- The Email row shows the signed-in email, with a badge for your tier: FREE means no active subscription, PLUS or PRO means your subscription is active.
- The Valid Until row shows when your subscription expires, with a Redeem button next to it. When 3 days or less remain, the date turns a warning color.
The Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly plans differ only in length; every feature in the app is available while your subscription is active. Without an active subscription (FREE, or a subscription that has expired), you only see the activation screen after signing in. See Activate a subscription.
Your subscription belongs to your account, not to a computer. To switch computers, just sign in with the same account; there is no need to activate again.
Expiry reminder
When a paid subscription has 3 days or less left, the app shows Subscription expiring with the days left and the expiry date. It checks when the app starts and when you click Start Collecting, and reminds you at most once a day.
- Later: closes the reminder.
- Renew: opens Settings → Subscription, where you can redeem a new code.
Once the subscription expires, the main screen is replaced by the activation screen, and you need to redeem a new code to keep going. Before switching to the activation screen, the app double-checks with the server, so a subscription that has already been renewed won't send you there by mistake.
Renew by redeeming a code
Renewing means redeeming another activation code:
- Open Settings → Subscription and click Redeem.
- In Redeem Activation Code, enter the code and click Redeem Now.
The Redemption Notes at the bottom of the window say:
- Redemption cannot be undone, so make sure you are signed in with the account you want to renew;
- Membership takes effect immediately, and any remaining time is extended automatically;
- Each activation code can only be used once;
- If you run into any issues, contact customer support.
Renewing does not interrupt a session in progress. See pricing on the official site for how to buy, or contact support if you need help.
One computer at a time per account
An account can only be signed in on one computer at a time. When you sign in on a new computer:
- If the old computer is still online, you'll see This account is in use on another device, with the old computer's Device, Last active and Live collection status. Click Sign it out and sign in and the old computer is signed out immediately. If it was collecting, its collection stops too.
- If the old computer is already offline (no online signal for about 2 minutes), you are signed in straight away without the prompt.
- The computer that got signed out shows Signed in on another device. If that wasn't you, change your password right away: log out, click Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and set a new password with the code sent to your email.
Your live rooms, mode setups and anchors are stored in your account, so they appear as soon as you sign in on the new computer.
Before switching computers, click Logout on the old one. The new computer can then sign in directly without the prompt above.
Log out
Click the logout button at the far right of the top tab bar (Logout), then click Logout again in Confirm logout. Logging out drops any live collection in progress, and you need to sign in again to keep using the app.
The activation screen also has Logout in its top-right corner.
Switch accounts
Log out, then sign in with the other account. Keep in mind:
- Live rooms, mode setups and anchors belong to each account. After switching, you see the new account's content.
- A widget link is tied to the account that copied it and the setup that was selected. After switching accounts, the widgets already in OBS won't show the new account's games. Copy the widget links again with the new account and replace the old ones. See Widgets and OBS.
Widget links contain an access credential. Don't share them publicly.
